My name is Shannon Molle and I am 27 years old. I started playing softball when I was 6 years old at Middletown Athletic Association. As I got older, I was chosen for the select tournament teams that played during the summer months. I started to play travel at 11 years old and played until I was 18 for 4 different travel teams. In addition to travel, I always played for my school from middle school up to varsity high school ball.
My main position was 3rd base but during the course of my softball years I have been a pitcher, catcher and outfielder as well. I attended pitching lessons for 3-4 years and could throw a few different pitches. My favorite part of the game is hitting because that’s what I was always best at.
I have learned most of my life lessons from softball and I am excited to be involved with the development of young athletes to improve not only their softball skills but life skills as well.
